Online Marketing Tips Video: Blogging & Gaining Subscribers
I hope you can forgive me that this video is a day late. It was made yesterday, I just ran out of time and energy to get it posted for you all. Blame my 6 year old nephew if you must, he tuckered me out yesterday with playing in the snow and yes he didn't care it was only 15 degrees out.
I've got three more blogging tips, to round out my tips on blogging. Theses tips aren't as technical as last week's online marketing tips video, in fact anyone can implement these tips! So check it out.

Blogging & Building Your Subscriber Base Tips - Video Transcript
Hi and welcome back to Tuesday's Tips in Online Marketing. I'm Li Evans of Search Marketing Gurus and KeyRelevance. I'm back today with three more tips in Blogging. The prior episode that we talked about blogging, I gave more technical tips. This week I'm looking at giving some tips that pretty much anybody can apply, and they are geared more towards the actual individual of the blog or who heads the blog. So lets get to it and take a look at this first tip.
Guest Bloggers Bring In New Readers & Subscribers
My first tip is to Add Guest Bloggers. Every now and then ask somebody to come in and blog on your blog. Do a guest post on your blog. It's a really great way to reach out to different audiences and bring in audiences from other people. They can be like minded but not on the same topic. It adds a little bit of flavor to your blog as well. So definitely take a look at every now and then adding guest bloggers if you are just a one person blog or just a one or two person blog add somebody else in there and give your blog a little bit of flavor and some more voices.
Discover New Audiences by Guest Blogging on Other Blogs
The next tip is kind of the opposite. Number 2, Tip number 2 is Write for Someone Else, Write Elsewhere. IF somebody asks you to guest blog on their blog say "Sure!". This exposes your writing, your thoughts, your position on different stances to different audiences, gets them interested in you. Eventually they'll probably follow through, follow you to your blog and subscribe there. It's a great way to bring in new people into your blog to start new conversations and its also a great way to build up your subscriber base.
Be Human, Have a Little Fun with Your Blog
The third tip I have is to Have Fun! Seriously! If you have kids, talk about your kids every now and then. If you do running, talk about the marathon that you're going to be running sometime in the future. If you take photos, share your photos. Its a really great way to engage with your audience and let them know your aren't serious 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ITs a great way to express that you are human as well and people really relate to that. So don't forget, when you are blogging have fun. Don't be serious all the time, have a great time while you are at it.
