Danny Sullivan's New Writing Gig - SearchEngineLand.com
Danny Sullivan just announced out on his Daggle blog about his plans after stepping down as Editor of Search Engine Watch.
SearchEngineLand.com is going to launch December 11, 2006 - right after SES Chicago. Chris Sherman and Barry Schwartz (Rusty Brick) will be joining Danny in this venture.
Its going to be interesting to see how SearchEngineLand.com takes off, and what is going to happen to SEW after Danny leaves. I'm sure a lot of people are wondering the same thing - as well as watching what the next moves will be.
The site states "We expect to have a special Founding Sponsors package together shortly". I can hear the line starting to form right now.
Wonder how long this is going to take to get out on Techmeme? ;)
Updated: I guess Jason Calacanis leaving AOL trumps Danny's new gig, at least out on Techmeme for now. Broke Danny's story last night, not long after he posted it - still waiting to see it something about it pop up, Rebecca out on SEOMoz caught it right around the same time I did, SEOMoz has a few more readers, hopefully that'll land the story out there!
Update #2: This story hit Techmeme, its out on the bottom of the page now. Amazingly - SMG is listed, wow!
