Google's Video Dreams - You-Tube Merger is Eminent According to WSJ

By Li Evans

Washington Post is reporting that a Google You-Tube deal in eminent, in fact quite possibly by then end of business today (10/9/06).

On another GoogleVideo front, GooglePress released two press releases about agreements with Sony BMG and also with Warner Music for access to their video music content.

I'm still shaking my head at this $1.65 billion number.  Apparently Mark Cuban is still as well.

Small update - folks over at WebProNews have now dubbed this as "iBubble":
"Perhaps Google CEO Eric Schmidt will leverage his new position among the board of directors at Apple Computers to ink a deal there, too, forming a Google, YouTube, Apple conglomerate that we at the office are affectionately calling iBubble."
