Even Google Gets Hacked - Pay Per Call Isn't Dead

By Li Evans

When I saw the post on Google's official blog about them ending Pay Per Call (Click to Call) initiatives... I thought, "wow, Ebay's not going to be too happy,"  but then I thought.... "why would that 'translation provided by'..." line be in a Google post??

Googlefakepost
(from my bloglines listing)

That's when speculation started flying around last night and earlier this afternoon about it being a fake:

Google confirmed the post was fake just a short while ago.  Seems to be a flaw in Blogger that was used - that little flaw is now fixed .... and "Pay Per Call is progressing on schedule."
