Ask Rolls Out New & Improved Mobile Search

By Li Evans

Askmobilesnippit Emanuel Bettelheim,  the Product Manager for Ask's mobile division, announced on the Ask blog yesterday, that Ask is rolling out a new mobile search tomorrow at noon (although I'm not sure if that's new their time or noon Philly time).

I'm actually pretty eager to see how this is going to work.  I find most of the searches for mobile devices a bit frustrating to deal with, so any improvements I most certainly welcome.

He notes that they've "included our beloved Maps and Directions – including Walking Directions and Aerial Imagery – as well as Business Listings (with click-to-dial phone number display)."  Hopefully that will help Danny Sullivan and David Naylor find their way around SES Chicago, since they mentioned getting lost in San Jose. :)

Oh and btw, thank you Emmanuel for sticking that old 80's song by Billy Ocean "Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car" song in my head with your post title - "Get out of my dreams. Get into my phone. Ask.com Mobile is here."
