Vocus pays $28M in cash and stock for PRWeb

The sale of PR Web, based out of Ferndale, WA, to Vocus was broke by Washington Bizjournals.

Vocus is a company that specializes in creating software that distributes news/press release to news outlets and journalists - so obviously Vocus had a great interest in PR Web.  Current Vocus customers are going to now be able to utilize the PR Web services too.
